Hi Guys, Im quite confused right now if I was able to configure everything correctly. For any routing expert out there, may I seek help please? My issue is I want Branches A, B & C talk to Branches XYZ back-to-back thru Meraki having different network provider with different physical circuits. (please see connections below) If this might help explain the issue much further: Provider 1 Routing table sample is below: 192.168.100.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.246 192.168.110.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.246 and so on.. Meraki Routing table 192.168.100.0/24 next hop 192.168.100.1 192.168.110.0/24 next hop 192.168.100.1 192.168.10.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.1 192.168.20.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.1 Provider 2 Routing table 192.168.10.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.1 192.168.20.0/24 next hop 192.168.0.1 and so on... after configuring allow rule on L3 Firewall on MX100, Branches ABC cant still see Branches XYZ, am I missing something? also for the port on meraki, should I switch it to Trunk?

Hi @andy0609 , I dont have any rules for this. I tried creating one being my Client VPN segment as my source and destination is the next hop IP but i think i didn't worked so i've removed it.

Hi, can someone assist me on settings needed for Client using client VPN as they cannot reach any host configured under static routes. Below are the things/settings I've done to give you a whole grasp of the picture Client VPN subnet (172.x.x.x) MX Subnet 192.x.x.246 3rd party router (directly connected to MX84 Switch port) 192.x.x.1 192.x.x.254 for LAN, access all configured static routes are accessible but when connecting to Client VPN, ping and connectivity is impossible. I've perform static route but traffic stopped to Meraki Layer 3 firewall rules, I've allowed 172.x.x.x going to 192.x.x.x on 3rd party router, created static route going to 172.x.x.x next hop to 192.x.x.246 (meraki mx) Is there anything I've missed here?

@jdsilva thank you so much! main concern for this is that even though rules are being applied for that hotspot capable device. connected users use VPN to bypass meraki rules/blocking... maybe perhaps manually checking the client traffic, right?

Hi, I did a research about hotspot within Meraki Community but could find one. I was able to discover clients/BYOD or any device capable of providing Hotspot sharing access for the internet. will MX be able to identify clients behind a laptop or mobile sharing access? lets say be visible on the dashboard? I did choose track by IP address but still couldn't see clients.

Hi @PhilipDAth one last clarification, if I setup the account per user, will the meraki require log-in once connected to any SSID of my MR and will not be able to use the network even if someone knew the password for any SSID?

Hi @PhilipDAth thank you for the response. please correct me if Im wrong, based on the meraki documentation, a radius requires a server or AD server? absence of any server that can provide certain certificate for authentication will not make a radius server complete? for Meraki System Manager, I doubt if the client would use it since its only SMB with less than 50 users. Budgetary concern too.

Hi I have this client that requires heavy authentication on wireless devices since they have issues of employees giving out password of SSID to unauthorized clients. Im never new to MX but only more than a year to MR. Upon deploying MR33, I encountered issue(see image below) on MAC based access. -Does this require server or certain configuration to MX? -Do I need a Radius server? further info: -MX64 is in use -2units MR33 -client doesn't have Active Directory

Hi, thank you for the response and apologies for the confusion. I was able to discover the main issue. My client has 1 MX and 7 MR devices. they renew the license for MX but did not do the same for MR so the dashboard is showing this notification at the top... "This network has been disabled for non-payment. Please contact Meraki Sales for assistance."

Hi Experts, May I seek your help regarding Meraki AP licenses. Since my client got all of his license expired on AP and after renewing it organization access is not available on the dashboard. Any tips what we can do? do I need to remove the AP and add it back again? Will the dashboard be able to save all the configuration after removing the devices? apologies for so many questions. cant seem to find answers on previous topics.
