Hi all,   in the Dashboard, I can see this notficiation "Our automated tests show that you have one or more Meraki devices unable to reach our plaform on IP address ranges 216.157.128.0/20 and 158.115.128.0/19." https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Other_Topics/Cloud_Maintenance_New_IP_Ranges_2022_FAQ   In my setup I´m using Auto-VPN and the Default-Route is announced/used via the Tunnel to my Hub! Unfortunately I can`t see the source IP-Address in the FIrewall-Test-Failures.csv report which is used from the MX to the Cloud?! I´ve quite a lot of VLANs configured on the MX (SVI) and I think I´ve heard that the highest one will be used for the Management Traffic, is this correct?   Maybe someone can point me to a documentation which explaines the behaviour?   thanks a lot!   ... Hi,   are there any suggestions on which %level the limit should be configured?   I´ve been gone through the official documentation which also states: "...Suppression monitors the bandwidth of each individual switch port every 1 second. On classic MS switches, if the specified type of traffic exceeds the defined limit, only excess packets will be dropped."   are there (interface) statistics or Logging entries that will show those kind of drops? ... Hi all, I´ve an urgent question regarding your experiences with the following scenario... I noticed that 2 switch ports on the meraki switch are on the opposite side configured for a LACP LAG - the correct configuration should be a LAG but how should I fix that? regarding the official documentation the links should be connected after the Aggregation has been configured in dashboard, but that`s unfortunatley now not possible anymore?! maybe someone has an experience and can tell me if it can also work with active ports? thanks for any response ... @PhilipDAth  based on Meraki this is probably the "best" solution from a technical point of view, but which functionalities do you lose here or how easy is the troubleshooting? I think that Meraki equipment in such constellations is not the cleanest solution...   what I ask myself - is there a recommended behaviour how an existing MS425 stack should/could be splitted? ... Re: Rapid PVST+ support

does Vlan1 need to be untagged (= native) on the trunk links? It is important to note however that as Rapid-PVST is a multi-VLAN spanning tree protocol, MS series switches can participate in spanning tree only when a spanning tree instance is running on VLAN 1 of all switches. In addition, VLAN 1 must be allowed on all trunk ports running Rapid-PVST, so that BPDUs are seen by the Meraki switches in the topology.   how will the meraki switches behave when there are different native vlans on trunk links? ... hi all, i‘m working on a topic which drives me crazy 😞 if anybody would have told me in advance that‘s so damn hard to implement a local polling SNMP solution i probably would‘nt believed it!   i‘d like to use a 3rd party SNMP grapher which should discover every second the bandwidth utilization of a MS 10G interface… for a reason which i don‘t understand the tool shows only every 30sec the performance of the interface?!   maybe someone can help me understand why this is happening? ... @KarstenI wrote:   There will be no separation. The goal which I´d like to achive is a separation of the VLAN-Database on Site A and Site B so they would allow the same VLAN-IDs used on each of the sites but don`t affect each other!   ... Hi guys,   since you can't use routed (no switchport) interfaces with the MS-switches, but only SVI's, I`d be interested on the attached setup and like to get your opinion for that!   What do you think of using the MS switch in addition to the Layer3 function at the same time to connect the 2nd MS-switch physically and in the same VLAN? I`d like to achive an ECMP routing which should be possible with that - correct?! ... View more

Hi,   I´m currently also dealing with this topic and, for the sake of completeness, would just like to give a short update in this thread!   Finally, in addition to the above configurable priorities, there is an additional low-latency queue priority which is not user configurable.  This queue has a greater priority than all other queues and as such is serviced before all other queues.  Only packets with a DSCP value of 46 (EF - Expedited Forwarding, Voice) are placed into this queue.  This feature is available and enabled on all MX14+ networks. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Firewall_and_Traffic_Shaping/Using_Packet_Prioritization_on_a_Traffic_Shaping_Rule   The only question for me is regarding the red marked part does anyone know how large this queue is or if/what parameter is used for policing that traffic? ... hi guys,   first of all I‘ve been through some documentations already regarding the MS390 and I think to know that this product is still a not useable one in a productive environment…   but unfortunately a customer has this switch in use connected to a MS425! I always use on the 802.1q trunks native vlan1 and all vlans allowed on them but on the MS390 this limitation of 1000 vlans exists…   https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/MS_Installation_Guides/MS390_Series_Installation_Guide#Stack_Cabling_Installation   so whats your suggestion how the trunk ports should be configured on both sides - the MS425 and the MS390?   thanks in advance for any kind of help! ... what does the keyword option ‘ignore‘ mean in detail? Ignore: This option will appear as selected if there is a newer firmware version available but nothing is currently scheduled. If an upgrade was scheduled but was subsequently cancelled (either from the Organization > Firmware Upgrades page or by Support), the Ignore option will be selected. does this mean that all updates are ignored or only a specific one?! ...
