Bump for this topic, can someone from Meraki please confirm an ETA for the vMX Large in Azure?

Has anyone tried either of these workarounds? 1. Use LDAPS from Meraki local auth to Azure AD (needs azure connectivity) - https://apicli.com/2021/12/13/meraki-mr-802-1x-with-azure-active-directory/ 2. Use an Azure-hosted captive portal that uses OAuth to Azure AD - https://developer.cisco.com/codeexchange/github/repo/rafael-carvalho/meraki-azure-ad/

Still no updates on AnyConnect for the MX? I'm guessing if it's in Firmware 16.x (like mentioned above), then the older appliances won't support it (as they don't run 15.x)?

Can Meraki support please make that doc public so we can read it? Agreed that having to replace the VM isn't ideal!

Yes, the Meraki maintenance is similar to SMARTnet, except that it only covers hardware - you still need your MR License to get software/TAC support from Meraki.

Thanks for the detail on how to configure the MX PoE port - this should be in the doco as a use case!

Are there any further fixes to this? Being able to add MG's to a "live" branch using an existing template would be ideal.

Good explanation @Bruce ! Has anyone (Meraki SE or partner/customer) tried this yet? It would be good to see it as a documented & supported use case.

I’m seeing this behaviour even when MAC randomisation (Private Address setting on the iOS device) is Disabled. Hopefully Apple has a fix soon.

We've had success with the Huawei E3276 on the MX84 & MX64's, using both Telstra & Optus SIMs.

It's unfortunate as there's a huge increase in malware/etc using HTTPS to bypass basic filtering. SSL inspection is a big gap for the MX-line, certainly it'd be a very welcome feature!

I'm pretty sure Auto-VPN (and SD-WAN) will work fine on an MPLS link. I think Alex's reference to "labelled traffic" means the MX won't run MPLS tagging - but from a typical customer perspective, any Ethernet-delivered IP circuit should be fine. The MX can now run BGP, but in a "pure" Auto-VPN / SD-WAN environment there's no need as all the routing is done via the tunnels - the MX just uses the WAN IP address for connectivity, so only needs a static route to the PE.
