I've just started playing around with the idea of using a Chromebook or Chromestick running a Kiosk app to stream either a video wall or a single camera. I'm currently using this app to do the kiosk mode with: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kiosk/afhcomalholahplbjhnmahkoekoijban   Two big downsides with this setup today: there is no way to provide login credentials for Dashboard to the Kiosk app, so you still need to connect a keyboard/mouse to the Chrome device to get logged into Dashboard. Second, even if you do not have auto logout enabled at the org level in Dashboard, each login is limited to 30 days. Perhaps there is a way around this by having the kiosk app refresh itself, but I believe the 30 day counter applies no matter what.    Has anyone else had any luck with this approach or any other suggestions at this point?    (@MerakiDave - anything you've seen with your customers at this point besides me?) ... You can set the IP & VLAN (note that if you set a VLAN, the switch will tag packets with this VLAN - so if you want to use the native VLAN, this needs to be blank) via Dashboard or in the local UI on the Uplink tab. Just make sure that what you set in Dashboard is the same as what you set locally on the switch. The Dashboard config will override anything you set locally on the switch.  ... View more

Does this happen with other parts of Dashboard (like MR or MX networks) or is it only SM? This sounds like a bug on the SM page you're using. Be sure to make a wish describing the issue on the specific page where the issue is happening. Stuff like this is usually fixed rather quickly as long as they're made aware of the issue.  ... Is the server you're trying to connect to in the LAN subnet (192.168.1.0/24)? If not, does the MX have a route to the subnet the server is in and does the server's gateway have a route to the VPN subnet?    You can add a static route in the MX as necessary and do the same on the gateway of the server if it's not the MX.  ... Are you using site-to-site VPN or client VPN? Does the MX64 have a route to the server you are trying to access? Does the server have a route to the VPN subnet you are coming from?    Can you post some screenshots of your MX config? There isn't enough info in your post to help you.  ... View more

You have WAN 1 set to 2Mbps on the uplink config. So you're only going to get 2Mb of throughput from the MX. You need to set that to the correct value of your WAN speed.  ... View more

@LucPaquet I think your route table in Azure is the issue. It looks like you're using 192.168.1/2/3.X/24 on-prem, correct?    You need routes in the Azure route table for those subnets so the VM's in Azure know to route traffic to those subnets via the vMX. Your on-prem MX already has a route to the vMX 192.168.4.0/24 subnet.    Take a look at the screenshot of my route table in Azure. 192.168.161.4 is my vMX in Azure while the other subnets are all used on-prem. The 192.168.162.0/24 subnet is what the VM's in Azure use.    ... View more

@LucPaquet No need to do any VNET peering. Just make sure you have the route table set up on the VNET for VM's to point to the vMX IP. You don't need any route tables on the VNET the vMX is in.  ... View more

@LucPaquet Two things:    1) I'm not sure it's supported to have the vMX in the same VNET as VM's. I would recommend creating a VNET just for the vMX to sit inside. The vMX should get an IP from this VNET and this VNET should NOT have a route table attached to it.    2) See attached screenshot of the local networks configured on the "Site-to-site VPN" page. @LucPaquet Hmm, the vMX shouldn't be set as the gateway for any of your Azure VM's. You need to create a route table in the VNET where your VM's reside that has your vMX as the next hop. That way Azure will take care of the routing. Make sure you update the vMX routes in Dashboard too.    ARM is Azure Resource Manager and is the "new" way of managing resources inside of Azure (everything goes into resource groups).
