I don't see any way of doing this past 30 days. To my knowledge Meraki only keeps clients from the past 30 days it was last seen on the network.

Can you post a topology diagram to allow for easier understanding of your current design. Is the 3750 currently doing any dynamic routing?

Is the AP that the user is connecting too showing that it's Config is up-to-date? I'd also try clearing the cache and removing the SSID from the stored wireless connections on the client and trying again.

Unfortunately, we have reached a limit on the beta users for this feature and we are not accepting any more networks or customers to the beta at this time. Any chance you can help out? I'm really keen to get my hands on this feature.

@MerakiDave I'm interested in the URL Logging. I'm looking at the network-wide>general and under reporting, I don't see any tick box for URL logging, I'm running 14.7 on the MX network. Is this still available?

The AP's resort to "Meshing" when an up-link connection cannot be established on the LAN interface of the Access point. My recommendations would be to check the cable to ensure it's not faulty and then also try plugging the cable in to a machine to ensure that the machine can get network connectivity (Correct IP address/Default gateway etc) Have a read of this document which outlines "Mesh Networking" in more detail - https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/WiFi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Mesh_Networking

There's no one button/click to achieve resetting an SSID back to defaults. My recommendation would be to just disable the SSID and then create/enable a new SSID, this would effectively have the "default" settings already pre-populated.

Have a read of the MR74 setup guide - https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Installation_Guides/MR74_Installation_Guide. The MR74 features band-specific antenna ports, and thus the corresponding band-tuned antennas should be paired with the AP.

You might also want to check that there is no firewall upstream which could be blocking connectivity to the cloud (help>firewall info) within dashboard shows the range of IP's/Ports that are required to be opened up on the firewall to allow for cloud communication.

Hey @BlakeRichardson, Managed to get to the bottom of this one. My devices had AV's installed which appeared to have a built in host firewall. Looks like these were blocking some of the outbound ports required 🙂 Cheers.

Welcome @cisco_Meraki, There is no pre-req for the CMNA. My advise would be to enroll in a CMNA session and you'll be able to see the simplicity of the Meraki solution! The only fundamental pre-req's would be that you have an understanding of Core Networking technologies more or less a CCNA knowledge equivalent to the Cisco propper world 🙂

Yeah both are waterproof and are designed to be fitted with the Outdoor APs. This is reflected with Meraki only offering a 1 year warranty for these products.

From my knowledge there isn't any hard limit of the throughput of the Z3 unless you set one. Therefore the Z3 is able to operate as close as line speed as possible (1Gbs).

I've just enrolled two Mac OSX devices into my SM network. I've enrolled via the standard web page enrolment as well as downloading the agent/package and installing on the devices. Devices are checking in to dashboard and are online and showing up to date. I'm however unable to remote desktop/use any of the advanced features which should be enabled with the agent/package install. How do i enable these features? I've tried to download the agent several times however still having no luck.

Again as per @PhilipDAth's reply. I don't think this feature is available currently. Make a wish (assume you already have). Reach out to your Meraki Sales rep to get some inside scoop on the MX roadmap for this feature/capability.

Hello @CarlosCoque, What error message are you getting on your Windows 10 client? I assume it's giving you a Windows 809 error message? There currently isn't an up-time clock per-say within the dashboard. If you can't work this out for yourself as per the connectivity monitoring as per the earlier comments, open a support case. Merkai support will be able to provide you information like when the device last rebooted/lost power and the reason behind why. I'd also recommend using the make a wish feature within dashboard to submit a feature request if you believe that this feature should be available via the dashboard. My assumptions is that this is asked for a lot so I can imagine it'll only be time before it's included.
