@Uberseehandel You're correct, there has been no change in the start time / timezone. We added some additional time to the end of this webinar, just in case we go over answering questions or running any additional demos.    We totally understand if folks need to drop off after the allotted (30 min) time! The full video will be available on-demand after the presentation if anyone would like to check back to see what questions were answered in the additional time.    So sorry for the confusion!  ... Hi everyone!   We're excited for the upcoming Node-RED webinar on Tues, Jan 14th - registration is still open here!   Node-RED is a programming tool that allows you to easily drag and drop commands to create flows that do almost anything with the Meraki Dashboard API. As you create intuitive workflows, Node-RED fills in all the “blanks” or boilerplate code around those actions for you. Join us in this webinar to see this in action with the Meraki Dashboard API and some live IoT examples - and learn more about the resources and sample flows Meraki has for you!     We'll use this thread for any ongoing QA after the show. For folks who are unable to join us for the live broadcast, this (and other Meraki webinars!) will be available on-demand through the same link/channel above.    See you soon! ... View more

Hi everyone!   We recently made a change to improve our platform. As of today, all newly configured receivers will be required to use HTTPs (SSL/TLS). Currently active Scanning API and Webhook receivers have until August 20, 2019 to upgrade receiver configurations to HTTPS (SSL/TLS), after which time non-HTTPs receivers will be disabled. Steps to configure a secure receiver can be found in the Developer Hub (linked below)!    To learn more about these changes - please check out this Security information in the Developer Hub, or the Announcements tab in the dashboard. Any affected HTTP receivers will be listed in this section to make it easier to find and remediate them.    Documentation for Scanning API Documentation for Webhooks API   ... View more

We’re excited to announce we’ll be hosting our first Meraki-focused DevNet Express! If you haven't heard of this event before, it's a two day event focused on Meraki technology where attendees will go through various sessions to get hands on experience with our Meraki APIs.   This is a free event with limited seats. By attending the event, you can learn how to receive a free access point and license (terms and conditions apply).   RSVP TODAY!   Location: Union Cowork East Village 704 J St San Diego, California 92101 United States   Date: June 8th - 9th   Event Website Registration Link   Who is it for? It's for Security Operation Managers, Security Engineers, Security Solutions Architects, Security Analysts, Firewall Operation teams, Threat Hunters, Network Engineers and Integrators.   Why 'DevNet Express'? A DevNet Express event lets you listen and learn, and then put it into practice. Whether it's a virtual or a physical DevNet Express, the principle is the same: you listen and learn from trainers, and then get hands-on with the technology, complete some interactive Missions (with proctors to help you) and get rewarded for your hard work. ... hi @OCT_OMG!    I would suggest using this restriction to prevent users from installing apps - it's under "ios restrictions (supervised)" and does require that the devices are supervised.      This will NOT prevent you from pushing apps through the SM dashboard - like the restriction below under "Cross-platform restrictions" would:     If that solves your needs - great! If you otherwise wanted to prevent users from logging in to any personal itunes/icloud accounts, you could use this restriction to do that as well, also under "ios restrictions (supervised)"       ...
