It's most likely possible, but you can decide if it is worth the time required to configure, test and support. I would try with MikroTik. Super cheap and can do almost anything imaginable. They're about $25USD: https://mikrotik.com/product/RBmAPL-2nD

Yes, pretty much any MR's can work together. The only exceptions might be for fairly complex, special requirements and it does not sound like you have those.

That's a tough call. Sometimes first release of new tech has some challenges and you may not want to be an early adopter. 10 years is really long in terms of wireless tech. It depends on your risk tolerance ultimately, I guess. You might do some research to see what chipset MR57 is using and setup a Google alert about it to stay on top of any progress or issues that unfold in the coming months. That could help inform a solid decision and I think I am going to do that now 😉

No. Geoblocking is pretty basic and just blocks IP addresses well known to be assigned in Russia. if you are honestly concerned about attacks from Russia you should probably have the FBI or DHS (assuming you are in the US) or some federal agencies involved. Otherwise, just carry on with current best practices for business network security.

Try adjusting your traffic shaping bandwidth up/down parameters to 10% or so less than the actual bandwidth you pay for. Inbound QOS from the internet is not really a possible thing, but the shaping values could help.

I think I remember that too. I think it was on the map of access points and had some options to show circles representing metrics like current and historic client counts. I don't think it was a coverage map though because that is not really possible without doing a passive site survey Ala Ekahau or Airmagnet, etc.

That change is not immediate if you had an open network session to that URL from your test machine. Have you tried again and/or reset the network adapter from the machine you are testing from? Or tested from other machines?

Just speaking generally, that is pretty high to mount an AP without a directional antenna for effective use in warehouse isles. I imagine a lot of the signal is above where the clients are and is also being refracted by the shelves. External antennas are often used in warehouses, but not always needed. I have had good results with external patch antennas aiming down alternating isles from walls on each end. Have you thought about getting someone to come onsite to do a proper survey? If you don't do that you are just guessing and doing a lot of trial and error to hopefully to get things working satisfactorily..

Do you have a floor plan and know the building materials like concrete, drywall, ceiling heights, etc.? Also, what types of wireless clients and requirements? Voice and video or just light browsing and email? All new WiFi 6 devices or some mix of iot and 2.4GHz required? We might be able to give a rough suggestion with that, but otherwise your guess is as good as any.. For the switches you can just uplink them for a small network like this. No need for high speed stacking, really. Best.

If not a DFS event I guess the way to make sure it doesn't happen again is to plan channels manually. One would hope whatever algorithms are used to determine when to auto update channels would limit the number of simultaneous changes, but maybe not. It should be pretty minimal impact and not noticeable by most clients unless maybe mid voice/video call with no secondary coverage. Did you get client complaints or just notice it in the log?

Probably, but I have no connection to the project. They use an API key that you can create for the purpose of the backup and then revoke so it is hard for me to imagine anything nefarious that could really be done. Proceed at your own risk though and read through their security and FAQ sections to decide for yourself if you trust it.

I’m guessing OP does this to quicken time to manage various equipment with his laptop. It never crossed my mind, but I could see how it saves a few minutes when plugging your laptop into some equipment for maintenance, etc. maybe like a field tech that goes around and has to plug into different stuff with static addresses throughout the day. I’m curious to hear the reason too. Maybe there is a better way.

You can try, but I don't think building all the VLANs will stop the mismatch because you will still be having ARP replies from addresses you configured on your laptop, but not part of the native VLAN you are connected to. Ignoring the logs is probably best and to be expected for a non standard scenario like this.
