Hi, I asume that you claimed the device and license as needed. 1. Question: Does the AP get an IP and the correct one? (Local Status Page) if so: 2: Ports on FW are correct...see document below:https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Other_Topics/Upstream_Firewall_Rules_for_Cloud_Connectivity Maybe just open ones everything on the FW from the AP's IP address. Also you could do a packet capture from the AP. Filter it to the address of you ap and check the communication to Meraki Addresses. Do you get answers or are you just sending? Thanks for all you support on this and especially to @KarstenI that you did some tests on it. This leaded me to reboot the AP's. And see there...the channel settings get as expected. I could not do this during work days. The documentation in RF Profiles https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Radio_Settings/RF_Profiles mentioned that it might take up to 60 min to reflect changes. So thought just give them some time. Thanks to all of you!

So for me there is still the question what takes precedence RF Profile or Manual Settings. From the comment of @cmr I would take out that manual settings will be in precedence and that it works for you, correct?

Hi all, I am a bit confused about the channel setting on my ap's. First of all I configured the ap's under wireless => radio settings to a static channel for 2.4Ghz nd 5.Ghz. I also click the box "Manually override channel assignment". Additionally I add an RF Profile for the power levels. So I would expect that the manual channel settings would apply. If I go now to the configuration of an AP. I see under radio settings (left side) the manually defined channels. Just a bit on the right side of the channel settings I see the channel utilization which shows completely different channels for 2.4Ghz and also 5Ghz. So what is now really correct? As mentioned I would expect the manual override would lead to the static settings. But I am now bit confused if the RF Profile still overrides it because of what is showed under channel utilization. See also the added picture My intention is to have manual settings for the channel and use the RF Profile to set the power levels. One more question...I do not find a the place where I can unbind an RF Profile from an AP. How can I remove it from an AP? Hi, i guess since you made already a factory reset, which did not help, I would proceed with Meraki Support. Just open a support Case and the guys will check what they can do. Kind of had a similar issue...did what i could do and opened an support case, which ended in an RMA. Hope that helps

Hi all, I just recertified my CCIE beginning of this year, but most work for it was done in 2022. In one week I will start a certificate of advanced study in Photovoltaik....nothing to do with IT but still interesting. DevNet Associate could be something towards the end of 2023. So this is a fantastic outlook for 2023!

Hi all, i got the following problem... I have an access point on which we have the site survey modus active. In order to disable it, I would like to connect to the local ap website. Unfortunately I can not get into the config modus of the ap which is in the site survey modus with the credentials which are configured in the network wide settings. I am guessing now, that at the time the ap was put into the site survey modus that the credentials have changed since then. As I do not know the initial credential I am wondering if it is possible to get somehow the credentials or if there is a way to reset the credentials? Any help is appreciated rgds roger
