Update on 9/19 to the api confirms encryption mode has to be wpa or wep not wpa-eap, but only is valid if authmode = psk. My suggestion remove "encryptionMode": "wpa-eap",

Check the change log. Check DNS settings on the client/DHCP scope and getting applied correctly. Check L3 rules blocking by IP range than possibly need to be increased when you increased the DHCP scope.

Use a group policy to apply to all devices except the one that is the marketing person. Have that group policy use content filtering to block what you need.

The syslog parameter is only used if you actually have one configured I believe. You might try removing that.

From my understanding remotewd.com is a Western Digital cloud backup service. Are these devices doing cloud backup/sync? My guess on the NVR is is verifying it is publicly accessible, might need to contact the vendor of the devices though.

Not sure of this but maybe NAT:Unfriendly is noted in the event log. If so you should be able to identify the MXs from there.

Outside of all the options mentioned, there is software that can secure RDP for your users. Also RDG is actually what should be used and not direct to machine. The other option is use an entirely different software or method to access the data that the users need to access. I have found users that were using RDP to check email. In that use case it is way easier to find the right solution for them.

I would say the easiest method is contact support and open a ticket once your org is setup. They walk you through the setup process so you don't make any mistakes.

@CarolineS @CameronMoody Is it possible to have the dashboard option changed to say developer mode on the this also, as ADB is confusing? Do I need to make a wish or is there a faster more simple way to get that changed?

That is very misleading and odd. ADB and Developer mode are completely different. ADB is a method to access the device command line via usb or other. Developer mode is menu of settings in the UI that allow you to modify OS settings. ADB requires developer mode to be enabled, but developer mode does not require ADB.

Might want to set the ruleset to security setting while you are learning and tracking this down. Also if out of country threat you might try blocking all traffic by that country. Temporarily IP block might be good too.

Thus digital transformation is a new hot word, based on a theory from many years ago.

Assuming you are using similar method to enable Developer mode from below? https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-turn-on-the-developer-options-menu-on-my-samsung-galaxy-device/ I don't think the standard MDM rules block dev mode. We use SM on Android devices (mostly Pixels though) and developer mode is able to be toggled. Is possible any other security software on the device that could be blocking it?

Not a Mac expert, but I believe if you run the below command it will list the packages by name and then you can use that to add to system pane. pkgutil --pkgs Also are you on macOS 10.14? Seems to be quite a bit of issues with that os and Backblaze.

Z series is designed more for a SOHO setups. It might not be the right fit depending on the device count and features/services needed, but it is usually the most common choice for that setup. It also keeps costs down (hardware/licensing) vs the MX series.
