If the MX "Hub" is configured as a Passthrough / VPN Concentrator I'm pretty sure that the number of clients/flows doesn't apply since the Hub is acting as a L2 bridge

Hi , I have done it in the past in my lab with success. Is MX-1 running AutoVPN ? If so full tunnel ? I'm only worried about running AutoVPN in AutoVPN, might be a MTU nightmare but this is temporary anyway

Yes that is right. Since Meraki MX do not have a MGMT vlan / interface / vrf they rely on the now Highest Vlan ID to source all sort of trafic ( Syslog , RADIUS and more ). We also had to design our network with these specific requirements.

Edited cause I'm dumb. AAA accounting + Fast roaming is the key. I would guess that on every roam the AP will send Accounting to the RADIUS server to inform the RADIUS server the IP of the AP the client is currently connected.

This is going to sound harsh but it looks great but a bit little too late to the party. I don't understand the target audience for this product. Most large enterprise probably already own C9800 WLCs and putting such an expensive pair of MCG in every location / campus doesn't sound cost effective.

Exactly what do you mean by "wireless connections" ? WAN 1 is WAN 1 and WAN 2 is WAN 2 , the MX doesn't "care" what ever you use on the back. It can be a DSL link or a cradlepoint with a LTE connection , it doesn't matter ( or shouldn't matter )

What do you mean : they work correctly on wired connections but have no effect on our Verizon wireless (cellular) You mean the cellular uplink on the MX ?

This is one of the most frustrating thing right now. It loads with the old UI, then reloads with the new on all the pages that support old/new ui which makes the dashboard experience disgusting and super slow
