Recommended equipment for a conference

What equipment would best suit conference lets say 150-200? I was thinking MX75 with maybe 4 APs. Any recommendations help please and thank you. 😀 At first I thought MX with wifi would be it but they are limited to 50.

Hi @kYutobi, 50 users on a single AP….?  That’ll cause you some issues with everyone hanging off a single AP. I don’t have the time to trawl the MX datasheets but I’d go for one with a few PoE ports and hang a couple of APs off it as per your original suggestion.

I would go with an MX 95 or at least an MX85.

That is the AutoVPN size.  The MX75 should be fine.

Since we are talking in general here - I would aim for 20 users per AP, which will deliver "average" performance.  So in your case, I would aim for 10 APs.

I would still go with at least the MX85 or 95 considering that each client can have more than one device.

Whats do you mean by conference?

Its 150- 200 people on that network?

What will the be doing on the network?

Will they connect 1 or  2 devices each?

What wan speed you have?

So sorry everyone as I asked this question as just a general one because I wasn't sure yet of the volume. I just got word that it will be under 50 users. @ww didn't want to put too much detail on since I wasn't sure yet but I was going to go with the MX68W since it provided a all in one type deal.
