Uplink Status change alerts not reporting for Internet port-2

We have MX 68 having two WAN connections but when Internet port2 is getting disconnected, we are not getting any alert for uplink status change.
For information: In SD-WAN & traffic shaping > Global preferences,> Uplink is chosen as WAN1 with Load balancing disabled.

Please suggest ! Thank you.

Unfortunately thats how it works. (You could use the give feedback on the bottom of the dashboard page)

You could build something youselft using api ,request the uplink status, then send some kind of alert based on the status it reports back. https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-organization-appliance-uplink-statuses

Yep. A much requested feature but something yet to be delivered.

Getting noticed

@Prasannajit:  Are you using the Active-Active AutoVPN feature for site-to-site with one or more other MXs?   If you have Active-Active AutoVPN, I believe you will get a VPN alert when WAN 2 drops, noting that a tunnel has failed.  The alert will not specify whether it's due to WAN1 or WAN2 drop, but you do get an Alert that you would likely want to investigate.  Not exactly the feature for which you are looking, but might be helpful.
