Recommendations for Meraki switching

Hi All,

We are looking at replacing our switches (about 10) sometime this year and looking at the latest MS390 meraki switches.

Just like some feedback with this model.

Thanks

Thanks all for replying. Will be looking at the MS355 series switching then.

Basically it depends on what you want do achive with this switch. Especially if you would like to go with Adaptive Policy this is the switch to go.

What i heared is that the delivery time is quite hight right now...but i guess you can check this with the meraki sales rep.

What switches and features are you currently using? As @rwiesmann states, if you’re after adaptive policy then the MS390 would suit but there’s a ton of other Meraki switches available.

The MS390 has a terrible reputation.  I would avoid this model.  Every other model is good.

You might like to use the switch product selector on this page (scroll down to see it).

MS390 is an really beta device. look at the firmware changelog how many issues are still in work for the MS390.

We are using the MS225-48LP for standard device areas. 1Gig to the clients, 10 Gig uplinks, stackable, PoE for phones and accesspoints.
