Moving a Cloud Monitored Catalyst between networks

Either there is no litterature, or my Google skills seem to fail me this time.

Does anyone have experience in moving Cloud Monitored Catalyst switches between networks?

I have a switch I want to move to a different network. But when I select it the "Move" button is greyed out, unlike my Cloud Managed switch.

Is it not possible to move a Monitored switch? Or do I simply have to go through the Cloud Onboarding process to select a different network?

Hm.. Seems one has to remove it entirely from the network, and re-onboard the switch.

I just checked my 9300, and yes, no move is available. I hope this gets implemented before I have to move my first monitored Catalyst ... 😉

Hm... The process isn't that smooth. Or maybe I did some things in the wrong order.

I tried to re-onboard the swtich along with two new swtiches. The new ones were onboarded without issues but the existing one, was hanging in the final step "Commiting". It didn't move the switch though. So I killed the onboarding tool, removed the switch and ran it again on the existing. That did the trick and the switch was added to the new network.

But it didn't apply any telemetry config, so I had to manually copy that over from one of the others.

After that everything seems to be in order.
