MS130-48P Switches hangs and looses connection to Meraki Dashboard

Hello all,

Just enquiring if anyone has experienced MS130-48P switches loosing connection to dashboard and require a site visit to physically power cycle switch and reboot.

I am relatively new to Meraki and have recently migrated LAN infrastructure to the Meraki product range. We have a number of small remote sites that only have a MS130-48P switch to accommodate access requirements. In the last 14 days, three of these remote sites have lost connection to dashboard and their upstream. They have required a site visit to recycle power and reboot switch. Once this has been done switches have reconnected with no issue. They are all currently on version MS16.9 and have been since this version was available with no issue. I will be scheduling upgrade to 17.1.3 but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar behaviour?

Cheers,

Christo

MS 17.1.2 & .3 resolved some control/mgmt plane issues on the MS130 models that could lead to them becoming unreachable like you described. I'd definitely get them upgraded then monitor.
