Long-Term uplink monitoring

Hi all!

is there a possibility to monitor the quality of a wan connection with meraki ms or mx devices?

Unfortunately there is no possibility for a port mirroring 😞

thank you and best regards

mike

@miu What are you wanting to monitor exactly i.e. uptime, latency, loss, throughput or jitter?

Hi Mike,

By WAN if you are referring to Internet Link - I can see a few options on MXes.

Security and SDWAN -> Appliance Status [Summary / Up-link] (Gives us Real time and Historical Link Information)

  • Connectivity status
  • Bandwidth utilization
  • Latency
  • Loss

WAN Performance.PNG

Organization -> Summary Report (Historical)

  •  Uplinks - Overall performance of links

Network -wide -> Alerts (Primary Links Fails / Restored)
