Issues with C9300X
Has anyone else run into sporadic issues with the C9300X? Specifically the C9300X-48HX.
We recently purchased 11 of these. Configured in a stack of 8, a stack of 2 and a standalone switch. I had to RMA one because two of the four switch banks were installed upside down. I've since had to RMA two of the C9300X-NM-8Y modules because multiple ports weren't working.
Now, I'm encountering an issue where my stack of 8 won't connect to the cloud. The problem is that the port the uplink is connected to isn't coming up. No link lights on the port. I tried other switches in the stack and get the same behavior, no link lights.
I've confirmed that the port is good and links by connecting my laptop. At this point, I'm starting to get disheartened by this model and it's inconsistent behavior.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this model?

Tell me one thing what SFP you are using and are you using the same kind on the other end ?
C9300-NM-8X | This module has eight 10 GE slots with an SFP+ port in each slot. Each port supports a 1 GE or 10 GE connection. Any combination of SFP and SFP+ modules are supported. |

I have the C9300X-NM-8Y module. That supports SFP28 for 25G connections.
The problem I'm having is that not even the copper ports are showing link lights. I've tested across all the switches in the stack I don't get link lights on any of them. It's almost like the stack hasn't fully booted, but it's been over three hours at this point.

what IOS version you are using ?
you may hit with the bug CSCwi63462: Ports disabled on C9300X-NM-8Y due to hardware limitation.

@Robthesoundguy, although stacks are supported up to 8 switches, I've experienced issues with larger stacks for many years and always try to keep stacks to a maximum of 4 switches. With CS firmware, the larger the stack, the slower it is to reboot as well. The beta IOS-XE firmware does specifically improve this a lot.

Did you ever get anywhere with your C9300X? I'm seeing the same issue, no copper link lights on the switch on boot-up for 3,4,5 hours until it finally comes alive.
Same issue on single switches or when stacked.

Not yet. But I did also pause on this project pending backordered optics. Once those arrive and I'm able to replicate the issue, I'm going to engage support and see what they have to say.

I tried to install 2 x C9300X-24Y and am having a torrid time. Inconsistent behaviour, ports going down, uplink ports randomly not coming up.
If I try to stack them everything seems to stop working.
Meraki support just saying they want to RMA both which I dont think is the solution, seems like firmware issues to me.
