ESXI 6.5 with MS210

Hi All,

I'm new to Meraki and trying to setup aggregate on 2 ports on MS210 to a EXSI host.

I read that Meraki only support LACP? Would like to know whether anyone manage to get MS to work with the version 6.5.

Thank you

Do you have a VMware license that has distributed switches? That is a requirement. Without that you can use a standard round-robin approach for your NICs.

I don't think I have any clients left using channel aggregation with VMWare.  Everyone I know uses round-robin.  A simpler config, and spreads the load nicely.

I don´t recommend to do a port-channel with ESXi Servers.

I am driving 14 ESXi Servers with each 4 10Gig LAN-Ports. I tried with port-channels (aggregates), but it messed up (with Cisco classic (as Cisco Nexus) and Meraki). I do not use LACP in this case. And it´s working. ESX puts the traffic in the right way on the network ports for it´s own (round robin).
