Cisco 9300 booting in meraki mode

Hey all,

I do have a brand new 9300 that's booting into meraki mode and it doesnt allow us to do nothing with it. My question is:

0 - How can we add an IP address to that switch so it can be managed by meraki?

1 - tried to factory reset but no go.

Any thoughts on that from the community?

Thank you,

-T

I've seen that page before, nothing much it allows me to do. After booting the switch it gets stuck at:

Upoe-plus command is already enabled for switch number:1

And thats it.

This is a brand new switch and it seems to be stuck into meraki mode, and cannot find any info about the mgmt interface being into dhcp to get an IP addr.

Any thoughts on how can we have this switch have an IP configured to reach meraki dashboard?

Thank you,

Thiago

Do you have one port uplinked to a device that will provide DHCP and internet access?

If no dhcp is available  you can program a static IP by following the C9300 info here: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Tools_and_Troubleshooting/Using_the_Cisco_Me...

Should we connect the mgmt port to get an IP OR any other interface?

Kind of a big deal

Connect any of the normal interfaces to something that gives it an IP address via DHCP and internet access.  Within a few minutes (sometimes up to 20-30 mins) it'll be setting itself up.

Have you added it to the dashboard etc.?
