Wireless slow on a MX64W

I have a MX64W configured as a spoke.  It is connected to the hub by a Cat6 cable.  The distance is approx 75 yards. The devices connected directly by patch cable to the MX have decent speed.  Users are complaining about the speed of the wireless.  Uplink is set at 250 bps. Suggestions on how to improve wireless bandwidth speed?

Do you have any traffic shaping rules configured?

How many clients do you have connected to your network simultaneously?

Active-Active Auto VPN enabled

Global bandwidth limits unlimited

Default traffic shaping rules

Currently 4 clients, sometimes as many as 10

Are you sure it's bytes per second? Isn't it 250 megabytes (MBs)?

One more question, what version are you running?

MX 18.107.10

Try updating to version 18.107.12.

In order to run this version you need to update to the latest stable version (18.211.5.2)

There is much less you can configure and monitor as far as the built in wireless on an MX vs an MR. Have you checked for interference? Tried updating auto channels or setting custom channels? Made sure the antennas are properly seated?

I tried to update auto channels but it failed. There are users connected. I'll have to try Monday when I am on site. I'll also reseat the antennas and interference.

> It is connected to the hub by a Cat6 cable.

When you say this, do you mean you have another MX as your main security appliance, and then you have this MX64W being used only as an access point?

Are there any other access points in the environment?

Are you saying users are 69m (75 yards) from the MX64W?

When users connect to the WiFi, is is clear and unobstructed, or do they have to go through several walls?
