WAN Bandwidth is 800mbps, but only get half only after MX installed

Hi Everyone, need your help/suggestion/recommendation.

I got 2x800mbps ISP uplink. Tested via laptop to both ISP Router is able to get 800mbps. However, after installed the MX450 into the network, the speed get by the user is around 300 to 400mbps (tested multiple time a day). Which is quite weird. No traffic shaping is applied. Checked via WAN Health and Dashboard Throughput is also getting 300 to 400mbps.

WAN1 / WAN2 > MX450x2 > 2960 > MR33

Anything that I miss or need to check?

In that case I think that Insight is not reporting the correct speed results. ( UI Bug ).  I would suggest opening a case !

Sounds more likely a wifi limitation, is you mr33 set to 40 or 80mhz channel width?

Did you test from a switchport of the 2960.

How is the uplink configuration in Security & SD-WAN > Configure > SD-WAN & Traffic shaping?

A speed test from Insight shows 300Mbps on your MX450 ?

That can't be right.

Here, take a look at this screenshot. i just re-run again the speed test. It is more weird because now is midnight here and no one use the network. but the speed still not satisfying

To be honest, this speed test is not 100% accurate.

Have you tried testing with another tool?

That's weird...  When you do the test , do you see the same usage in Appliance Status -> Uplink ->Live data

The speed test from Insight is reliable , but I would confirm with a PC directly connected to your WAN and run a speedtest from any speed test website.

Thanks to you.

Meraki Support recommend to update the firmware. Now the speed test for MX450 through WAN health is now tally.

The speed test by user is slow due to AP is in low power mode. Changed the PoE to 802.3at (25W) and the AP is now working properly.

If you ignore the speed tests in the dashboard and try speedtest.net plugged into a switch port what speeds do you get.

The WAN speed test does show it's in beta so any results you get from that might not be accurate.
