Replacing MX400 with MX250

Hello,

Is there any guide how to swap it? Should these two be online at the same time and then clone?

MX250 has different interface and no build in like WAN1 WAN2 LAN1 and LAN2 - I hope I will achieve same thing on MX250 as mx 400

Thx

MX250 has different name of the ports. Can I use 1GB for WAN. Spreadsheet does not say anything about MX400 or 250

@MST : 1 Gbps ports are LAN ports

Check installation guide

ok so 1GB are LAN ports, currently I use 1Gb ethernet for WAN1 and WAN2 with MX400, can I still use 1 Gb Ethernet with MX250 as well? Both of my providers doesn't use SFP+ and 10GB.

@MST : You can run SFP supporting 1 Gbps in the WAN ports.

@MST you can use the MA-SFP-1GB-TX (the part number is something close to that, going by memory) module in the MX250 WAN ports to provide a 1Gbps copper/RJ45 interface. Most third party equivalent devices will also work, just be aware of (not afraid of) Meraki’s support policy regarding them.
