ok so 1GB are LAN ports, currently I use 1Gb ethernet for WAN1 and WAN2 with MX400, can I still use 1 Gb Ethernet with MX250 as well? Both of my providers doesn't use SFP+ and 10GB.

MX250 has different name of the ports. Can I use 1GB for WAN. Spreadsheet does not say anything about MX400 or 250

Hello, Is there any guide how to swap it? Should these two be online at the same time and then clone? MX250 has different interface and no build in like WAN1 WAN2 LAN1 and LAN2 - I hope I will achieve same thing on MX250 as mx 400 Thx

And WPA2 for a profile under specific SSID - correct? SSID > WPA2 > profile > VLAN In Aerohive they use PPSK using different keys assignment for specific profile and profile to specific VLAN. I guess it is similar some how.

I see Meraki does that a way difrently than Aerohive and using Aerohive and switching to Meraki is confusing. Now we use profiles assign them to SSID and assign VLAN. I dont want to use RADIUS for our managed devices. Can I achieve that with Meriaki access points?

Experts, I wonder if Meraki uses any user profile for specified SSIDs. Like others, for example, I use 1 SSID PPSK and I can use multiple user profile (password) with VLAN redirection. How that look with Aerohive? I don't want to create 20 SSIDs with a different password for specific VLANs. thank you

Thank you jdsilva, In aerohive there is SSID and user profile so I can limit to one SSID and multiple user authentication. Is there something similar with Meraki?

Experts, I am new to Meraki Access points. We plan to purchase 80 MR52 but I have a dilemma. We would use PPKS for school owned devices like Chrombooks, IPADS, MAC Book Air Plays. We would use radius SSID using Windows NPS for teachers authentication. The only question is how to limit devices amount per user? Also what about if a teacher wants to use their credentials on a cell phone? How to approach that? Would be nice to use 802.1X - radius (NPS)authentication for both MAC BOOK pros (school owned) and other BYOD like teachers cell phones, ipads. We dont have to use radius, we can use AD for authentication but how we can approach teacher own devices? Any idea?

sorry - but "beta firmware" scares me in terms of "beta". I have to ask if this is stable and tested in production? I would love to use "beta" firmware but having 1500 clients connected to MX400 - we have to make sure the new beta firmware wont make any problems ....

I would contact support. We had similar problem and there was something on Meraki End but now that was fixed and no more pocket loss. But indeed, when we listen musing there was a choppy sound so loss indeed occurred. Since support fix that, no more issues with packet loss.

Experts, Seems like Layer 7 has a bug and does not work like it should. GeoIP allows traffic from countries which are on the list. Policy application set to Video & Music = pandora allows pandora co I can listen anything from pandora. I am confused by using MX since a lot of things is not working like it should. Any thoughts?
