Passthrough and DHCP relay

Hi

Does the MX support DHCP relay when configured in pass through mode?

I have tried on various MX series connected to WAN port for uplink and the DHCP relay doesn't appear to be working unless we connect instead to switch port module shared with upstream device.  Only then does DHCP relay appear to work.

Thanks

how would it relay in  pass through mode, it does not have vlan interfaces?.

do you mean the mx drops dhcp packets from lan to wan?

Yes it does not seem that the dhcp requests are passing through the Meraki from the LAN.  We are doing packet capture on upstream device but see no traffic on udp port 67.

Just wanted to confirm if this should be supported?

Confused on this one. Are you asking if DHCP relay traffic should flow LAN to WAN?
