Only allow authorised devices on LAN MX65

I want to stop anybody connecting a network cable into our network and getting internet access, preferably an IP address as well.

We we have the usual printers, pc etc on our network and would allow these devices, but somebody comes in with a laptop I do not want them to get internet access.

It sounds like you should be using 802.1x.

Is your MX65 providing your DHCP?

Are your client connecting to a switch or directly into the MX?

Yes the MX65 is giving our the DHCP

MX65 connected to a Netgear switch

[ITzhak]

then as @PhilipDAth recommended, 802.1x is your best bet.
