MX68CW disable built-in wifi and use external MR wifi

Are we able to disable the wifi portion of a MX68CW or any MX with wifi, and use MR access points instead?

Yes. 

it is already disabled by default.

As mentioned, disabling the build-in wireless is easy. You just still get the annoying banner in the dashboard:

But you can just ignore this.

Yes you can, I do this on my setup at home as wireless options in MX are limited compared to MR.
