MX cluster without lan

Hi all

Can meraki cluster works with 2 wan interface and no lan connection?

I'd like to configure the Meraki cluster in a datacenter as AutoVpn Hub and non meraki site to site vpn.

@ww OK yeh that was a fair assumption 🙂

@PaoloBiagioni What you're trying to do is not a recommended topology. I'd advise you rethink your design to better align with Meraki recommendations.

Hi @PaoloBiagioni, what are your goals with the solution? Are you looking to provide SD-WAN type functionality between sites, or are you looking to achieve a VPN back-up to an MPLS link? Depending on what you are trying to achieve there are different designs. And when you talk about internet and MPLS circuits, do you have single circuits, or do you have one circuit of each per MX?

the lan port(s) of both  mx need to send/receive  vrrp  packets using a layer2 link.
