MX-84 Adding a Second Uplink

I'm adding a second ISP so we have a failover for our network.  I see in the documentation where to add the second ISP's configuration information (SD-WAN Uplink). Presumably I need to connect the cable with the signal from the new ISP (which wasn’t stated in the documentation).  I have the following questions that I did not find answers to in the documentation.

1. Does it matter what port we plug into?  It looks like except for Mgmt., the other port operate as a smart switch, but I didn't want to assume.

2. Is there a primary and failover or does it just randomly grab one available uplink?  If there is a primary, how do we specify the primary?

The uplink section simply specifies entries for WAN 1 and WAN 2.  Their documentation says nothing about how these two uplinks are chosen or interact.

3. Anything else I need to do that I have overlooked.

1. Taken from the following document:

Setting up secondary WAN interface (dual WAN)

The MX84 comes with two dedicated Internet ports, which are both configured through the Uplink configuration under the Local status tab.

2. You can set your Primary link under the SD-Wan and Traffic shaping page
