ACL Hit Count

Is this new? I don't recall seeing this before...

It seems to be a running total in real time that starts once you navigate to the Firewall page and not and all time total, but this is a nice add for troubleshooting for sure!

This MX is on 14.27, but I also see it on an MX with 14.19.

I have noticed this from time to time, but I manage dozens of organizations and also notice that I do not see it on some systems.  I haven't bothered to try to find out why yet.  I have also noticed a checkbox for 'logging' next to rules on some systems.

Here is the logging option I see on one system.  No idea how I got it there..

Yep been there for a while.  Security Appliance>Firewall.  I find it handy to validate how much traffic is getting blocked by the rule. Would be nice if they had similar functionality fo the switch ACLs.

I think it was added in the 14.x firmware.

I'm 99% sure it's been there for quite a while now.

Even before firmware version 14.x

I've checked some networks and the oldest firmware I could find in my networks with ACL Hit counts is 13.28

But i'm pretty sure it was there before that too.

Cheers,

Ben
