3 ISP on Meraki MX84

Meraki MX84

My question is if I have three service providers
I can use a lan port for the third link?

With the MX84 and MX100, you can only have 2 WAN uplinks.. there is a spot for a USB cellular modem for failover WAN Link... https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Overviews_and_Specifications/MX84_Overview_and_Specifications

According to Meraki's sizing guide, it doesn't look like any of the MX's allow 3 WAN uplinks ...

If you do a HA pair, I believe you could have two ISPs on one MX, then a third on the backup MX.

Hmmm.... that's 1 tricky question!

Hi @eduluisapa

Can I ask your ISP 1, ISP 2, & ISP 3 are all static or DHCP IP?

Will you turn on the load balance in the MX?

As for your question, whether you can use the LAN port for the 3rd link is NO but.... if you look at this post, it might give you an idea 🙂

No. There can be only two active WAN connections for any MX. Third WAN could be only be cellular for failover, when both the WAN links are down.
