This looks like fun. I'll give this a try in 24 hours.

This condition is a real bummer:

"Participants must be (i) legal residents in the United States"

You will probably get away with it. A recent survey discovered that most American believe that NZ is somewhere in Europe. You can put your hand on your heart and swear that isn't true.

Hello,

Please fix your form. It rejects my email address as it has an apostrophe in it. 😞

This probably wont work @jdsilva, but an apostrophe can be encoded as %27 in a URL, and this is a web form.

So try substituting %27 for the apostrophe.

@DeannaS I have just promoted your competition on LinkedIn.  Hopefully this will get a few more people entering.

Anyone else is welcome to share the post to promote the competition further.

Bring on round 2!

Can't wait for round Two! 3/3 😄

@PhilipDAth Son of a... I can't believe I've never thought of that. In all the years that I've had to deal with my workplace ALWAYS using the apostrophe in my last name in my email address...

Bad news though here. The form still doesn't take it. Great suggestion though!

@jdsilva sorry about that.  I thought it had a low chance, but worth a try.

Time to ask work to add an email alias to your account without that apostrophe.

As somebody with a name that too many sites can't handle -

Robin St.Clair

I have had to develop techniques (based upon the reality that upper and lower case do/don't work in the beerosphere.

So - RobinStClair@HitMeBabyWithYourRhythmStick.com

so Philip_dAth@kiwi.networks.co.nz

or Jose_daSilva@Brasil66.com

it kinda works

Hi @jdsilva – apologies about that! I've looked through typeform (the tool we used for the challenge) and cant find any documentation about accepting emails with apostrophes. Is there another email you could use?

@DeannaS Thanks for checking!

I could use a different email address, but it won't be the same as the one I use here. Does that matter?

Nope – It doesn't have to be the same as the one you use here 🙂

But hurry! The challenge will close soon!
