MacBook Pro has the location Service Wrong in SM.

How to get to the current location of macbook pro 2018 in SM ?

I'm not familiar enough with Macs to know if they have a GPS chip.  If they do, and Systems Manager is allowed access to it, then it will use that.

Currently, Any MacBooks does not have GPS chip.

 

MacBook and iPad WiFi without a GPS module are not connected to the Meraki AP, it is checked on the map at the address of the Internet service provider.

 

If the device is connected to the Meraki AP, you can set the location of the AP to determine the approximate location.

@Nompangfor devices without GPS SM tends to use the external IP geo information which is not always accruate. Most of my devices show a location that is about 10km away.
