Moving devices to a new Organization

Hi All

 

Hopefully a quick question, a company that is managed by a MSP is being split up with some devices remaining in the managed organization and some devices being moved to a new Meraki organization.  In order to move the devices is this done by the company's organization admin or can this be completed by the MSP?

@SilencerPG  You will need to work with the MSP and Meraki support.

 

The MSP will have to remove the devices from their inventory however you will need to contact support to get the licenses migrated to the new organisation.

In short...the move of devices can be done by an organization admin. But be aware that Meraki Licenses can not be moved by the admin. You need to open a meraki support case.
