Since I originally asked for this, the MG line has come out - the use case for my post is long gone however you now could connect a MG21E to a MV72 to provide connectivity to the Internet. DC power for both devices and let the lecky sort out conduit/outdoor boxes for the LAN cable and power. The problem then becomes one of security - there are ways to solve that though!

Selling "combo" NIC cards in the late 90s that had a RJ-45, AUI (10Base5) and coax (BNC, 10Base2) connector for those networks that had a mix of everything! Plus then the next day of selling a 802.11b NIC for new magic wireless networks that were starting to appear!!

Hi All Hopefully a quick question, a company that is managed by a MSP is being split up with some devices remaining in the managed organization and some devices being moved to a new Meraki organization. In order to move the devices is this done by the company's organization admin or can this be completed by the MSP? Cheers!

Thanks @MerakiDave! I had mounted 3x 120mm fans in the back of my cabinet (there's more than just a MX and MS in there 😀) which seemed to provide better airflow and a vague reduction in temp. Will definitely try the USB fan - the cabinet has good ventilation the heat during the day (and sometimes night!) is the killer.

100% agree Nolan, my usual solution set is to hang rugged devices off of a 4G router or other wireless connectivity. I had a requirement last year that involved MVs connected wirelessly to a rugged 4G router but were then powered by a rugged PoE switch. I would have loved to keep all of the equipment within a single vendor - makes management that much easier.

Hi, are there any plans to add temperature as a stat in the dashboard for fanless MX and MS models? My personal MX64 and MS210 devices run hot to touch - note that the MX is coming up 3 years with no issues so it's been going great. Would be handy to understand the temperature and what is normal or not.
