Dashboard Topology layout changed ?

Hi ..

Yesterday when I checked the Topology map, it included diamond shaped attachments to the AP's ..

I haven't seen these before, only with non-meraki (Cisco) switches etc. in infrastructures ..

There is exactly one at each AP (quote a number of those) and the mouse-over says "No LLDP data for this device" ..

Is this something new I missed ?

I'm seeing it as well - even for MV12 cameras that can not have another device plugged in.

Whew ! .. Nice to hear others seeing the same ..

I was fearing i somehow had gotten my fingers in the "FumbleConfig" - jar ..

Any solutions/Explanations from our guys at Meraki ?

It is also somewhat broken for us, on one site with 28 APs, six Meraki switches and a Cisco IOS core.  9 of the APs some up with a grey box and the label 1 AP, the other APs mostly show up connected to the wrong switches...  In the Wireless/Access Points screen they all show up as being connected to why they actually are connected to, so something has gone awry in the dashboard logic!

Just followed up on the topology issue with Meraki support earlier today and I'm advised the issue has been raised with the development team. I hope you have lodged a case with Meraki support like @cmr did to receive updates.

I'll log a case immediately. Just posted here, and got a reply that would get back, chasing the case.

I still think the info should be streamed here as well as in a closed forum as in the Meraki Support.

I have received confirmation from development that yes the issue has been resolved. It was a backend dashboard error.

Ours is *mostly* back to normal now, just one MX showing as connected to the wrong switch on the site that was most broken.  The icons are at least all correct again 😀
