vMX100 to vMX - How to Calculate VPN Use for "Upgrade"

We need to move from a vMX100 to a newer virtual model that will support the same configuration and users. While the MX Sizing Guide & Principles KB from Meraki includes some details on how to achieve this, it focuses almost entirely on the number of tunnels and not collective tunnel throughput/bandwidth.

Is there an easy way to calculate what our needs would be from data in the Merkai Portal on the existing vMX100? This seems like something Meraki should be including in their documentation so that people can make an informed decision.

Thanks for your help!

Not sure if you have seen this reference that talks about throughput and tunnel count?

I have, it tells me the requirements but not how we determine how those fit into the infrastructure we have in place now. It seems odd that there's no way to determine your needs before making a purchase using the existing product.

I presume this also exists in AWS, but I know azure keeps stats on traffic utilization that may be helpful for calculating throughput used.
