Cisco DNA vs. Meraki Monitoring for Catalyst 9300

A client is deciding whether to migrate their network infrastructure to DNA or Meraki Monitoring for their Catalyst 9300 switches.

Can I get the pros and cons of each option? Thanks.

M.

Hi @MauroF , please kick us off with your list of Pro’s and Con’s and we’ll jump in after to fill any gaps

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

How many C9300's have they got?

If less than 50 - I'd probably go thte Meraki way.  Catalyst Centre (DNA Centre has changed its name) is hard to scale down this small because of its huge footprint.

If it is more than 500 and then have at least one network engineer on staff - I'd consider the Catalyst Centre direction.

If they prefer cloud based solutions - go Meraki.

If they prefer on-premise based solutions - consider Catalyst Centre.
