MG52e trial. wired client not reaching internet

Doing a trial of the MG52e. I have the esim activated and it's connected to 4G service. I can reach the internet from the gateway. When I connect a wired client (laptop) to the LAN port, it gets an IP address, but it won't reach the internet. It's like the gateway is blocking the traffic (gateway is in routed mode).

I can't figure out why this won't work.

Have you swapped the "Bootstrap" SIM to your purchased eSIM? By default the bootstrap SIM will block all client traffic.

MG52/E has a bootstrap data of 1Gb. The data is not accessible via LAN ports of the MG since the data is only meant for establishing dashboard connectivity and perform the swap to target AT&T profile.

Once the MG52/E is online via bootstrap, all the LAN port data on the MG is blocked and the eSIM bootstrap data will be used only to check in to dashboard and for management traffic

Kind of a big deal

It might be only some types of traffic are blocked (if the eSim is not properly activated on a plan).  Does ping work, but web browsing fails?

Yeah, went back through the procedure again, and found a typo in some of the information for the esim. Things appear to be working now.
