I used MX68 at my previous job, at my current job we're using WatchGuard Firebox. When the time comes for renewal, I'm trying to convince my current company to switch from WatchGuad to MX. Are there any improvements on using the AnyConnect VPN client? My last job I used the native Windows 10 VPN client, and it worked for most part without issues, but I like to use AnyConnect. Anyone here switched from WatchGuard to MX? I like to hear your opinions. From my experience with WatchGuard so far, it seem like it blocks everything by default, and you had to allow stuff to go through.

1. Those options on the dashboard were unchecked, so if I check them it should enable it right? 2. I want to make it for every device, but I also like to know how to make settings for certain phones also just in case. I guess I can create a group and add those phones on there?

I have access to the Meraki dashboard. So, just make sure those 2 items are unchecked and it will be automatically updated on the iPhones already on MDM?

My iPhone is enrolled in MDM dashboard, and I have the SM app. If I take a picture with my iPhone, and selecting the email option, I'm able to select my Gmail, and non MDM associated emails. The work email, associated with MDM is not displaying. Anyone experienced the minor issue I know the work around is to copy the image, and paste it to the work email.

One last question to make sure. Let's say I have a managed switch with a trunk port 1 for VLANs example 50,100 And I have port 2 on the switch as untagged (U) for VLAN 50 If I connect a non-managed dummy switch to port 2, the devices connected to the dummy switch will get VLAN 50 right?

So I could have a network on the native VLAN 1, which would be untagged right? They have 2 VLANs (50,100) Then on port 3 for example on the MX, make it a trunk port, and allow VLAN 1, 50, 100?

Thank you. So since this Android phone is a personal phone, I'll be using BYOD mode. The problem is that, this Android phone was already enrolled on MDM, and I'm trying to enroll again. When I open the SM app, under managed Apps, there's nothing there. When I remove the profile from the phone, and delete the phone from the dashboard, and re-enroll, it downloads the app, but it keeps saying there's a new version, and its just keep uninstalling and reinstalling the new one. So I'm in a loop. Also, according to the documentation, on either BYOD or Device Owner Mode, I'm supposed to be able to choose the sign in / authenticate mode. Either Google or Meraki mode. I don't see that option, or I don't have a way of choosing that option. The only thing its doing is that, it creates a Work folder with Meraki SM. I didn't have any of these issues with an iPhone.

I have case 08211444 open with Meraki for Android phone enrollment. The person that's helping me on this ticket doesn't make any sense, and I'm not even sure if they're replying to the correct ticket since they're addressing me by a different name. Can someone please help? I'm trying to enroll my first Android phone on MDM, and this is a personal phone. But the Meraki tech is suggesting that I factory reset the phone to enroll.

Assuming this is the correct way to add email through the MDM iOS app, On the Meraki dashboard, Apps, I added 'Microsoft Outlook' iOS app, and pushed it just to my iPhone. Now, when I open the Meraki MDM app on my iPhone, I see the Microsoft Outlook automatically generated, but its just spinning. I'm assuming this is because my APNS certification is expired?

I'm new to Meraki Systems Manager. I have my iPhone enrolled in the Systems Manager, and I installed the certificate on my iPhone. It says the APNS certification has expired, and I'm working on renewing it I'm assuming that's why it says 'Client synchronization is not yet complete' ? How would I setup my company's email on my iPhone using MDM? I think I need to go to, Systems Manager --> Manage --> Settings and add profile? How would I add my iPhone to it and also how do I setup the company's email on my iPhone? I know I can use the Outlook app, but for security reasons, I have to go through Systems Manager I have the Meraki MDM app on my iPhone, and on the status, Connected, Enrolled, Compliant, Location all have green check marks
