Did you have to edit any settings on the Gigacube or MX to access your corporate network. i have internet access over guest Wifi on the MX which breaks straight out to the internet but over our corporate network the MX connects to the dash but does not allow me access to our services. Have read this could be due to doubling natting or needing a different APN but Vodafone are not assisting with fault finding on this product.

I assume by cell tower you mean LTE provider, in which case tower selection is based upon your SIM cards APN as well as carriers that Meraki supports. This might be better answered in the correct forum: https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless-WAN/bd-p/wireless-wan

The AP might ask the client to roam. The AP might be overloaded, or it might have determined another AP would provide better performance. Some buggy drivers disconnect instead of roaming. A roaming event while connected should not be considered an issue - this is simply the network using smarts to improve the overall system. First step - try updating the WiFi drivers on an affected machine. I would recommend getting the driver from the WiFi chipset manufacturer rather than the OEM of the computer manufacturer. OEMs can be very slow at providing driver updates for embedded controllers.

There is no best prcatice for this - more personal preference and best fit for scenario. As @PhilipDAth said, copper RJ45 connection is always cheaper. You don't have to pay for SFP's and assuming you don't need a higher end MX, you can purchase to lower spec'd ones - SFP LAN ports are only available from the MX85 model and upwards.

The APN Setting can be changed on the MG21 the same as it can on the MG41/51 under Cellular Gateways > Uplink. Change the toggle from default to custom, and you will be able to set the custom APN.
