Re: Wi-Fi Clients being Disassociated due to "excess frame loss"

I completely agree with @DevilWAH    The issue was originally reported from Chromebook devices disconnecting or reporting poor client experience, eventually all devices with no exceptions were reporting the same anomalies. I also noticed AP performance was poor ranging from 90 to 17%    I rolled back to  28.7 with the help of TAC last night and can confirm that all my client devices are back to normal this morning.   As stated by @Schwa87 this rollback may not be for everyone.   ... Last night I downgraded a couple of schools to 28.7 + disabled Client balancing.  High density networks, more than 100 MR56 each.   So far no complains coming from the users and the logs are clean. Will keep and eye on them and update everyone. ... View more

I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue on your Windows devices however, I see this issue across all my client devices and it seems to be mostly affecting  802.11ax, 802.11ac as reported by @DBlum  ... View more

My classroom APs are configured with an RF profile  using  AutoChannel assignment,  which of course will assign radios to channels with low interference.   Captured this morning.     ... View more

Interfering APs

MR56 network, clients are reporting disconnects in multiple classrooms. I'm seeing the following SSIDs when viewing "Interfering APs" in Air Marshal.     My APs are on 20MHz (red circles ) channel 44 I highlighted in green what I believe could be causing interference (80MHz)  channel 44+   Not sure if this is the issue since these (dashcam devices) are not on my LAN and are probably broadcasting from cars that are parked nearby.   Thanks in advance for any constructive advice.     ... This is a High School. We created a Guest SSID with a  different VLAN just for them with limited bandwidth for their personal devices. I agree this is a very high number hence,  I'm looking to put in place all the relevant advise I can find in this community.   Thank you for input! ... View more

I have seen between 1500 to 2000 devices during pick hours, and have thought about setting limits per SSID since 2Mb per user seems to create performance issues   I read on a difference post that if you have 30APs and want to create a limit of 30M you will have to set SSID limit to 1Mb, 30/30 = 1Mb   Can I apply the same logic in my network?   100Mb/180 APs = 550Kbps Per-SSID bandwidth limit     ... I need advice to limit the bandwidth for our guest users. Meraki school with 180 APs (MR56) 500Mb up down.    Question, what would be the best recommended settings to allow a maximum of 100Mb to the guest users without affecting client performance.   Currently using "Per-client bandwidth limit (2Mb)   Any other ideas are welcome! ...
