I disagree with ignoring the cancer casualties and consequences of it, especially that science didn't achieve much in understanding the cause and curing it effectively. Have a look at cancer death rates, worldwide. LGBT people also die from cancer (I think), so it should be a global quest, to find the cause and cure for cancer. ... View more

Re: Air Marshal Spoofs - trying to make sense of MAC addresses reported

Thanks, that makes sense...actually, I've already done the steps described... However, really needed to find out if there's any manipulation of Meraki-s device base MAC address. Please refer to the attached screenshot. I was expecting any offset in MAC address to be in last octets, but didn't know how to interpret the changes in the first octet?   Thanks, Alex   ... Air Marshal Spoofs - trying to make sense of MAC addresses reported

Hi all, I'm troubleshooting network where we get a lot of WiFi drop-outs reported (users lose connectivity for a while). I had a look at Air Marshal and got confused with finding. I could, sort of, recognize MAC addresses, still would like to know how the base address of MX get's manipulated in different SSID-s etc. Also, would  E2:CB:AC:34:84:83 be Meraki range still or it's a real spoof?   ... Hi Ajit, actually, when I did point 3, it didn't work. Whitilisting was fine, but the deny any any rule in SSID firewall, that killed all traffic.   Just so you know, it may not work as you expected...       ... View more

SSID for only one device

Hi team, I got a request, user on a site needs a Smart TV (android) connected to the Internet. There was some problem, TV couldn't see intended SSID and I had to create a SSID just for that one. Due to device capabilities, I've chosen the WPA2 authentication. However, I'd like to lock this SSID to only this device. With older solutions, I restricted access to SSID using MAC filters (or MAC access lists). I'm not sure if that (or something better) is available? Thanks! Alex ... View more

Re: Meraki API 404 error

Hi Ulix, I had the same problem, found a workaround by choosing "No Auth", specifying bulk edit in Headers to insert X-Cisco-Meraki-API-Key value and  Content-Type : application/json  values. Also, setting variables in collection didn't work for me, but if i set them manually inside the Params tab, these worked... Could it be that the Postman implementation sometimes doesn't work?   Problem here is, if we can't pass variables from collection or from environment, then the automation doesn't really happen properly.   Cheers, Alex   ... Hi BrechtSchamp, thanks for the response, I've tried both of the things didn't work for me. Apparently, I've set up the environment first. However, I've set up variables as in point 1 as well, but that didn't give me any joy either... Anything else I should check? Thanks! Alex   ... View more

Problem with Postman and Meraki API

Hi team,   I'm a bit new with API, followed tutorials and doco's but got stuck. The Meraki collection I imported and environment (variables I have set) didn't work for me, all GET requests I made that way, ended with error 404. However, if I manipulated the headers and the region server, no authorization , the old way (tutorials 2 years old) that seemed to work and I got the orgs, networks etc. I'm running the latest Postman (v7.12.0), collections I have downloaded few days ago, got variables in the Environment reviewed by my Peer (who used an older Postman version with success) and we still couldn't figure out why I couldn't use it the proper way...   Any hints or suggestions? Thanks in advance!   ... View more
