I don't see that banner if I navigate to the maps and Floor Plans by way of the Network-Wide tab. However, getting there by going the old way through the Wireless tab does show the banner.

The page I linked to was the old page where we didn't get a reCAPTCHA either. The page I got to today at https://account.network-auth.com/account/reset_account_password is now where the splash page link points to and works.

It looks like Meraki has update the forgot password link from account.meraki.com to account.network-auth.com and now the reCAPTCHA works again. There was a major reCAPTCHA outage over the last few days but everything seems to be working again.

Hey guys. I've had a few users complain of not being able to see the CAPTCHA when trying to reset their password via the link on the splash page (https://account.meraki.com/account/reset_account_password). The last time I opened a case, I was told it was Google's fault since they have that service. A case before that though, Meraki said it was something on their side. Has anyone else gotten the reCAPTCHA errors lately? The weird thing is that when I visit the link while connected to a Meraki AP, I get the 'I am not a robot' CAPTCHA but it just spins when the box is ticked. On any cellular and any non-Meraki network, I don't even see the reCAPTCHA at all. I assume the only workaround for now is resetting passwords thru the Dashboard.

I believe it is because the splash page is returned when Meraki sees the HTTP GET request. If you browse to any https site, the traffic is encrypted and therefore Meraki cannot see the GET request. I always told my users to either go to bing.com or cnn.com. Now I just have them go to 1.1.1.1 to force the splash.

@Adooslike most people in this thread, I haven't heard of any issues. One other thing I have noticed is that my 'failed connections' are filled with mobile devices and not laptops. This would support our thinking that the issues are just when a client authenticates on one AP but is moving and completes authentication on a different AP. An iPhone or iPad is more likely to be moving as authentication takes place as opposed to a laptop that is more than likely sitting on a table in a conference room.

@kusumanegarait, sorry I was out of the office last week but I did find something interesting but it might not apply to your case. I noticed that the MX in this network was seeing huge utilization spikes up to 100% (as seen on the Summary report). I opened a case and Support told me the USB cellular card was constantly in a 'connecting' state and causing the utilization to spike. I had local IT disconnect the card last Friday. Below is my AP graph for the past month and you can clearly see the difference it made by disconnecting the USB card. This might not be your issue but it definitely shows that there could be many factors that contribute to this AP issue - many of which might not seem related.

Some of the APs that I am having issues with are MR34s with injectors. Looking at the Cisco SB switch, I see my uplink port will go down for a minute or so. In the last day, this has happened 3 times but only one of these instances matches up with a 'blip' on the MX connectivity graph. I think my main issue is the firmware that this switch is running.

After looking into this more, it's got to be the switch. Half of my networks use Meraki switches and I do not see any of these interruptions in the last 30 days. I know the solution isn't just upgrade to Meraki full stacks (although this is what I am planning to do for next year) so I am going to see if I can grab logs and see what they say. Also worth noting that some of these APs are MR34s and are using PoE injectors. @kusumanegaraitwhat switch(es) are you using in your network?

All of these APs connect to the same switch which is just a Cisco SB switch. Other networks of mine have this issue and utilize the same Cisco SB switch line (SG200/SF500). And as @kusumanegarait sees, all of these connection issues are logged as one minute.

I have this issue as well. A cable and port issue can be ruled out since this is over multiple ports. These are connected to a non-Meraki switch. My MX shows total connectivity during this same time period. APs are running 25.11

@kredmoreI have this issue as well. I get a TON of the PSK-fail messages with company phones that have the credentials stored in a wifi profile so it's not a bad password issue. From what I can tell, it's not affecting connectivity of any of these phones, but it's annoying to see my failed connection percentage so high. Support wasn't quite sure what the issue is and I haven't had time to dig into it more. I know someone said that in a dot1x environment, these are considered fails are because the EAPOL handshakes happen as the client is roaming although I don't know if roaming would also be the cause of non-dot1x networks.

@Emily- I seem to have a ton of PSK auth fails with one of our SSIDs that we use for work devices, which all have a wifi profile pushed down from the Meraki MDM. With the wifi profile on the device, I would think most authentication issues would be moot since the device connects automatically without user intervention. Is there something like what you mentioned for AD + splash networks that might be the culprit in my case? In my largest network, I see about 3800 authentication issues with this particular SSID.

I've wished for it time and time again. We have over 12 networks that we authorize users on in case they travel between our care centers. People have emailed us asking about the 'spam' from Meraki since each email looks exactly the same. I wish it was possible to disable these emails on a per-network basis so my users would only see one email since that one email represents them being authorized on their 'home' network - which is all they care about.

@PhilipDAthNo, I only see an event right before and then an event 2 or so minutes later. On the router of the network, 2 of the last connectivity blips coincide with each other. The router log just shows the 'primary uplink status change' event which looks as if the MX reboots but the next event in the log is a DHCP lease 35 seconds after the MX event. 3.5 minutes later (the very next event) the cellular USB card connects which again seems as if the MX really does reboot in that quick amount of time. The AP disconnects don't always coincide with the MX disconnect. In the last day, the MX has had 6 connectivity blips and the some of the APs in that network have 4 of the same blips. These networks are all the same ISP but in different states.

@AdamYes just three networks out of a dozen or so. Only one of those networks has a Meraki switch. The other two have Cisco small business switches. I took a packet capture from Dashboard on the switchport of the AP and the uplink port of the switch but I am currently in the process of trying to get the ability to run Wireshark on this machine since I just received a new one.

@AdamOn one of my networks I have a Meraki switch and it has a few connectivity issues as well. I do not see any CRC errors, fragments, or collisions for the past day when the attached AP had 6 'hiccups'. Also, this has been happening before the 25.9 firmware.

Hey guys. Posting here to see if anyone else has experienced this. I have a few networks that have experience one minute connectivity issues. I see this happening more times on the APs themselves than the router for that network. The WAN connectivity is fiber and I don't see any connectivity issues on the uplink to the ISP gateway. Below is the connectivity for one of the networks. Does anyone know maybe why my APs are doing this?

I opened a case and was told to update to the beta 14.21 which resolves an issue with false reporting of failed fans. However, I have no one on site for another 2 weeks that can verify the LED status. Hopefully it's all green back there.

@DCooperI was really hoping the new Air Marshal would have an export feature since I have to compile a report for auditing once a quarter. Currently, I have to copy/paste for 10+ networks and it takes forever to get the lists just right so it looks decent in Excel.

Guys, I have what I hope is a question with a quick/easy answer. When I was out west in one of our new care centers last week, I powered up a MX250 and noticed the fan LEDs are different. They're solid orange as opposed to the solid green that I am used to on the MS350 fans. Does anyone know if this is the expected behavior (they're both working)? The status indicators section of the install doc does not say anything regarding the fan LEDs. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone had issues with the LAN containment and Air Marshal not obeying SSIDs that have been whitelisted (specifically Meraki SSIDs)? In one of my campus buildings, I have 3 WAPs in their own network. This is so our Incubation Team can use this wifi as they want since they have access to this small network. When we first set up this building, I made sure to whitelist the SSIDs that the small network was broadcasting and I do not contain anything in Air Marshal in the 3-WAP network. All of the sudden, the main building wifi started containing the 3 WAPs. I opened a case and have had LAN containment OFF since October and was told I am waiting for a fix from the engineers. I am not sure why this started happening in the first place but wonder what kind of 'fix' is needed. I would think that if engineers were working on a fix, this would be a bigger issue that would be experienced by other people out there. Again, other rogues that we whitelist are OK, it's just the one's that are legit Meraki SSIDs from the 3-WAP network.
