Policy is disabled like you posted below. I called Meraki and they couldn't find anything and just asked me to let them know if it happens again....BTW, user is okay now. Thanks for your help.

Thanks @vassallon . You are right, it is being blocked from wireless clients with a policy. So I wonder why it got blocked, user been using the wifi OK for a few days. You have any idea on why all of the sudden devices got blocked?

Hello, First time I'll do switches firmware update using Meraki and I'd just like to get some advice, we have 2 core switches MS425 and uplinked to Access switches , MS225 and MS350. Should I do them all at one time or in sequence? Also, last time they did them all here at one time, the Equalogic SAN lost connectivity and had to be reconfigured. The SAN is connected to core switches, but they are stacked, if I update one and reboot, it will also update and reboot the the other one. So there's really no redundancy there. I'm thinking of contacting Dell Equalogic maybe we have to gracefully shut them down first.

Thanks @vassallon Unfortunately, I'm working with the remote client with local IT support guiding him. I requested for screenshot, but that sounds like the error message he's getting. I created another SSID for testing, it is an OPEN one and I asked them to try it...

Hello, Have a user who's connecting to our WiFi and was working fine until this morning, he's getting a Meraki splash screen saying "the network administrator has blocked his access" I looked around Meraki portal but haven't found any information that'd be helpful. I have the MAC address of the device. Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks. Hubble

Thanks @PhilipDAth The current firmware version on existing MS425 is MS 10.40 and it says "Update Available", so now I'm not sure if we should update their firmware first before adding the new stacks. Also, as I posted another question, will they automatically install the same version of existing switches or the latest firmware available?

Hi All, I have 2 MS425-32 stacked and need to add 2 more MS425-16 and extend stacking, do all the switches need to have the same firmware version to stack? Number of ports doesn't matter right as long as they are the same model? Thanks, Marlon

Oh okay, thanks @BrechtSchamp . Sorry I did'nt know I can use any 10GB ports as stacking ports. So is it as easy as selecting Enabled from the switch port Meraki portal and then move the stacking cables to them? Can I use the same cables? I guess there will be downtime during the move.

Got it, thanks @BrechtSchamp Just in case they insist they want to use the 40GB ports, what options do we have since those ports are being used as stacking ports? Use physical stacking to release those ports?

Thanks @BrechtSchamp I just took over this project and the previous engineer left the company, he placed an order for 40GB fiber transceiver already and will use MM fiber as the distance is less than 300m. So looks like the plan is to use 40GB between buildings and I just don't know if we can still do that after I found out last week that 40GB ports are being used as stacking ports. But for plan B, I'll just use two 10GB ports as etherchannel, however I don't see that option from the Meraki GUI portal, ports configuration , do I have to do it from the command line?

Thanks @GIdenJoe , Since the 40GB ports are being used as stack ports, I'm thinking of making any available 10GB ports as L2 uplink ports to connect MS425 between building. The new building is just across the road and we'll run mm fiber to it from the old building. Does that sound a good solution?
