We have used FreeRadius for many months for MAC based control (no encryption) without issues until recently we picked up issues with Samsung SM-X205. I tried @CiscoUser 's solution and could not make it work. However, I managed to find the documentation of that functionality under the following API: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api/#!provision-network-clients under schema definition. You should set Per connection policy and list the SSIDs you would like to change the device's policy for them   Here is an example for a request's body that would block device for specific SSIDs: {    "mac": "aa:aa:aa:aa:aa:aa",     "devicePolicy": "Per connection",     "timespan": 2592000,     "policiesBySsid": {        "9": {          "devicePolicy": "Blocked"        }     } }   Sending this body in a post request to /networks/{networkId}/clients/provision will block any device with MAC aa:aa:aa:aa:aa:aa from connecting to SSID on index 9(you can get that using GET /networks/{networkId}/ssids) ... Basically, using ajax with local resources doesn't work. Chrome and Safari has a restriction on using ajax with local resources. This error means that you are trying to perform Ajax on a local file. This is forbidden for security reasons. In order to solve this problem, you can use firefox or upload your data to a temporary server. I don't think anyone has mentioned the impact of the "RADIUS Proxy" setting on the Access Control Configuration page.   If you do not use RADIUS Proxy, I believe the RADIUS messages will originate from the management interface of each access point.   If you do use RADIUS Proxy, the messages will originate from Meraki cloud as indicated on the firewall info page.   In one of my networks where I use RADIUS proxy, the firewall info page shows a line for port 1812 where the source IP contains three networks (two /24 and one /20).  The destination IP shows the addresses of my two RADIUS servers.  When I did the initial setup, I added the three Meraki-provided CIDR ranges as allowed clients in my RADIUS configuration. ... It would be nice if it would actually power off, however I do not think that is something that is possible. Closest I know to getting to actually 'OFF' is to either set the radio to OFF under the power settings manually (or doing it through the RF Profile method which always seems difficult for some reason), and then contacting Meraki support to have them give you the toggle option under General settings, to disable MESHING. You shouldn't 'see' any wireless frames then going across the air, however I believe you'll still see the AutoRF changing channels. You can ignore the TX power setting the 2.4GHz radio 'grabs' because its never the same for me. One AP might show 29dBm, another might show 6dBm, both set to OFF. I just ignore it and move on. ... Hi HodyCrouch,   I'm having some issues with get client calls and timespans myself.     I'm accessing the Meraki API with a python (v3) script.  I've refered to the Meraki API documentation and source code found here: https://github.com/meraki/dashboard-api-python/blob/master/meraki.py   The particular call I'm using is found on line 1349 "def getclients(apikey, serialnum, timestamp=86400, suppressprint=False😞"   I want to see all the clients connected to a particular MX device over the last month.  It's the timespan piece that I don't understand.  For example:   networkClients = meraki.getclients(apikey, greeceNodes[node])   Here the networkClients is meant to be a returned list of clients and greeceNodes[node] is the serial number of an MX device in my Greek networks.   That said, I'm not sure where to put the timespan or how to format it, and the source code is not clear about it.     on lines 1353 - 1355 of the source code, the timespan={2}:   geturl = '{0}/devices/{1}/clients?timespan={2}'.format(str(base_url),   str(serialnum),   str(timestamp))     I'm not sure what this timespan={2} means.   Any ideas on how to gather data from the monthly timespan?     ...
