The issue clearly has to do with 802.11r fast transition information elements. Or: one type of client has issues and you'll need to see if there is a certain client type that has this issue. Or: there is a firmware bug in the AP that falsely flags these IE's as invalid.

The AP will try and reach both the Public and local IP of the MX. On the AP's wired interface you could do a packet capture and look for connection attempts to the MX. Is there two communication?

Would love to see this as well. There is some basic data like this under Organization->Summary Reports, but no way to get proactively alerted on it. You would need to leverage the asset and write your own automation around it, sadly.

Would the SSIDs need to be on different VLANs to ensure separation when the traffic hits the MX84? The Existing SSID is using the default VLAN 0.

Am I right in thinking that they should have one MX set up as the one-arm concentrator for access to their data center then another MX at each branch site to control access? Is this the current best practice? Thanks
