Update: Reboot and or firmware upgrade solved the issue. More than likely the MX just needed a reboot. Lost 1 ping on failover. Thx

Hello, I opened a case a few days ago. They suggest a reboot of the MX. Well tonight I am upgrading the firmware and the reboot will take place as well. I will be testing this again tomorrow hoping for better results.

WAN2 shows a public IP from the sim provider. It is in a Ready state. From the Tools section on the MX, ping to 8.8.8.8 works fine selecting Internet2. Trace route dies as does MTR selecting Internet2. From the Tools section on the MG, the DNS Lookup seems to look fine and ping to 8.8.8.8 works.

Basic Internet testing through the MG52 was tried on a laptop several days before we actually connected it to the MX today. It was just the MG52 and laptop and we had no issues getting to the Internet.

Hello there, I am seeing odd failover behavior or really no failover at all happening. I have a MX68 with WAN1 working fine. I have a MG52 and connected it to WAN2. The device shows up, connected, and in a Ready state. Both green LED. When I pull the WAN1 cable from the MX, no failover happens? The LED state goes from both Green on WAN1-2 to NO LED color at all on WAN2. Failover does not work. Plug back in WAN1 and connection is working again. I have toggled from Graceful to Immediate, and no change in behavior? Any ideas?

Hello All, I am fairly new to Meraki. I'm tasked with getting a 3rd party NMS hosted in the cloud to SNMP poll devices in my organization. I have read several articles about enabling SNMP v2-3 at the Organization settings level and you can enter in the IP restrictions field the public IP of the hosted device I assume. I also read where you can do this action in Network-wide>General level for each site and then go under the Firewall, WAN appliance services section, you need to whitelist the public IP. I am confused. Does this need to be done in both places? I am thinking just at the Organization level. Thanks

Hello all, I appreciate the responses. Issue seems to be solved! Legacy network was Aruba Instant On with no edge router. There was a setting in the Zerox printer for 'Postscript' we had to mess around with to make the Chromebooks print. Oddly we did not have to do this before, but issue resolved for now.

Hello there, I recently spun up a Meraki MX68 with the AP9164i's at several sites. Chromebook used to print fine to a local Zerox printer (wifi) on the same wireless network through the old infrastructure. We put in the Meraki and now the print jobs from Chromebooks fail with error code 016749 on the Zerox. Both Chromebook and printer are on the same wifi network and subnet. Windows devices print fine. Scratching my head on this one..? Thx
