Is there a way to download a .organization file from MDM? I have an ipad that I need to upgrade from IOS 12 to IOS 16. It won't let it do an OTA install, so I am trying to plug into my iMazing software, but it keeps telling me that it is restricted from pairing due to supervision. I don't understand this, so any help there is also appreciated, but my main question is this: is there a way to get a .organization file that I can then import into iMazing? Not sure why this is a problem with this one device, but it is. Thank you,

That's kind of my issue as well as the linemen don't keep up with their password. It is strange. Some folks it asks for password re-entry every day, others it's longer. Some people never have an issue. Newer devices seem to act better.

We set up OAuth last week for mobile users, but many of them keep getting prompted every day to re-enter their password. Is there a timeout setting somewhere that I need to look for that will extend this login period?

Is it possible to create a folder with all my managed apps in it while still allowing the users to move other icons around as they wish? The home screen layout seems to be locking all apps down where they can't be changed around. When you tap and hold an icon, you never get the shaking icon and small x for deletion.

I found the issue. The ipad was still on ios 10.x and when I saw this and updated to 11.4, the problem fixed itself. I should have seen this. Had an idiot moment.

I have a home screen layout setup with a folder that has a few apps in it and a couple web clips. The web clips have installed on the device, but will NOT move into the folder I want them in. This ipadhas the same tags as the other ipads with this folder and they all work fine. I can change tags and the apps change, just these web clips will not move to the folder. All ipads including this one are supervised. Stupid issue, but it is just annoying my anal retentiveness. Any ideas?

Hi, I am having an issue where I have an app that is only for ipads and my tags are by group. Generally this works, but the app that is in the group tag also tries to install on iphones in that same group (due to a few other apps that are ok for phones). What's the best way to keep that app from trying to install on a phone? I created a tag called IpadOnlyApps and assigned this ipad app to that tag. Then I am assigning that tag to all ipad devices. Is that the best way to handle this situation? Thank you!

I am new to this whole MDM (as of a week ago), so pardon me for my ignorance. I have several phones that the users don't want to put their own apple id onto as they have their personal phone. Do I need VPP to manage the apps I want on the phones this way? Also, when I used VPP for a school system years ago, we had to create separate apple id's and thus separate emails for each device. Is this still the case or has that changed? Thanks!

Does anyone have experience pushing connection information for VPN settings to the sonicwallmobile connect client? I looked into the native VPN settings, but Sonicwall uses HTTP SSL and not L2TP nor IPSec, so this way will not work unfortunately. I am trying the managed app config setting to push them out, but I don't know what to put in for the key/value combinations. I tried the settings below to no avail. This would be an awesome feature if I could get it set up properly. Thank you!
