Did you set it up as an isolated VLAN? Are you on the same vlan the entire time between where you are trying to play the music to versus where you are playing it from or does it have to route between vlans? If you have to route between vlans do you have an ACL in place at the firewall that might be creating some issues? I can't see where multicast would be an issue if it is all on the same VLAN. I don't know if what you are trying to do requires bonjour forwarding or not. Is any of this over WiFi?

You should also check your ISP(s). They may have an issue in one of their cores that maybe causing this as well. If you have the 16.6 version of the firmware installed with Meraki Insight you also now have access to the thousandeyes outage map straight from the dashboard.

I have been in this field for almost 20 years working in both very large corporate networks and some smaller to mid-size networks. Your experience with Cisco MerakiOver the past 3 years I have deployed several Meraki solutions at clients sites. Some sites were a small footprint others were a full rip and replace with Meraki. A fun fact about yourselfMy first BS degree was as a Park Ranger and I worked in Colorado or 2 years at the National Sports Center for the Disable in Winter Park.
