i think you are right. I found the below when go to Switch ---> switch setting ---> Qos. QoS rules based on port ranges are not supported on the following switch models in your network: MS120. Highlighted rules below are not supported and will be omitted by the following switches: And another question is by default switch port can recognize voice traffic(ef) and treat it as it is if th port is connected to phone?

Hi Cisco has command "switchport port-security mac-address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx vlan voice " it treats data vlan and voice vlan separately. in Meraki switch, do we have separate step for this thing? It looks like we can put all allowed mac address in the same window box in the dashboard no matter it is data vlan or voice vlan. Thank you

we can select and decide one of the several switches as root, but after that, can we select one of the downside switch as designated switch? for example, two switch are connected to the root, i want to select second one as designated switch. if we do not know mac address of port, it would be a little hard to do that.

maybe it is mac address of port which is uplink port i guess each port has its own mac address, but we cannot see it with normal way.

" The uplink port is the port the switch is using to talk to the Meraki cloud. It has nothing to do with up- or down-link within your LAN. " In Meraki switch, the uplink port must be connected to the Meraki cloud through internet, but port connected to internet must not be uplink port, can i say like this?

Hi After the switch MS120 is connected to internet, i can see one port is green as uplink port. But we I click the Summary on this switch page, I can see a lot clients on the page, which lists some thing like mac address, usage, ip address etc. I wonder how these clients come to the switch through this only one active port? we do not need to create vlan in Meraki switch like Cisco switch. as long as we assign a vlan to port, the vlan already is created. i am right?
